Our Program
Founded in 2014, the MVP Recovery Behavioral Health Program supports our clients in achieving the 4 Components of Long-Term Sustainable Recovery: HEALTH, HOME, PURPOSE, & COMMUNITY, as defined by the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA).
MVP Recovery assists clients in identifying their Critical Relapse Warning Signs and teaches them the tools necessary to navigate life stressors in Recovery. The MVP model includes multiple therapeutic resources including evidenced based treatment, peer to peer recovery support, in conjunction with structured and supportive independent community sober living. This approach provides our clients with real lasting changes needed to obtain and maintain long-term Recovery.

SUBSTANCE USE TREATMENT
The MVP Recovery Behavioral Health Program provides all levels of outpatient substance use treatment: Partial Hospitalization Programming (PHP), Intensive Outpatient Programming (IOP), and specific track Outpatient Programming (OP). The MVP Recovery Behavioral Health Program utilizes a holistic approach to treatment and our team of licensed, certified, and trained staff utilizes evidenced based practices and recovery orientated modalities to better support our clients. The MVP Recovery Behavioral Health Program offers a comprehensive peer to peer recovery support program for our clients. Our team of Certified Recovery Specialists supports whole-person recovery and helps our clients in achieving the 4 Components of Recovery: Health, Home, Purpose, and Community. SOBER LIVING
The MVP Recovery Sober Living Program is Licensed by the Department of Drug & Alcohol Programming. MVP Recovery is one of the first and largest Sober Living Programs Licensed in the State of Pennsylvania. As a DDAP Licensed Recovery House Program MVP Recovery is recognized and certified at a higher standard than non-licensed Recovery Homes. In addition, as a DDAP Licensed Provider MVP Recovery can provide Sober Living funding for residents that qualify. Learn more
MENTAL WELLNESS
MVP Recovery offers a variety of outpatient behavioral health services including individual, family, couples, and group counseling for adolescents and adults. Our licensed mental health professionals are committed to meeting client’s individual needs by using evidence-based interventions, strengths-based approaches and peer recovery supports.
Psychiatric evaluation and medication management is also available to supplement outpatient services and help to alleviate symptoms. Our Chief Medical Director and CRNP work directly with the MVP clinical team to determine effective interventions or medication regimens as appropriate. If medication is prescribed, the psychiatric team provides medication management/monitoring for the duration of services at MVP Recovery.
Medicated Assisted Treatment Services
Evidenced based practice shows that Medicated Assisted Treatment can be a successful option for many that are diagnosed with an opioid use disorder. Medicated Assisted Treatment for opiate use disorder generally involves using a medication to replace the opioids an individual has been using. There are a variety of medications that can be used to do this. MVP Recovery provides individualized treatment by working directly with the client to help them discover the medication that is best for them and their treatment regimen. These medications can assist clients in overcoming the discomfort experienced in early treatment and help them engage a program of recovery.
Medicated Assisted Treatment is a tool to help individuals work towards the 4 components of Recovery: Health, Home, Purpose, and Community. It is critical that clients on MAT participate in recommended therapy, counseling sessions, and recovery supports in achieving long lasting sustainable recovery.
